
Pottersfield Press was
founded by Lesley Choyce in 1979 and is located at Lawrencetown Beach, Nova Scotia, Canada on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People.

Pottersfield Press specializes in books about Atlantic Canada with a focus on Mi'kmaq and African Nova Scotian, but also publishes a wide range of fiction and nonfiction titles in the areas of history, biography, health, environment, poetry and books about the sea.

In June of 2022, Lesley Choyce, founder and publisher of Pottersfield Press became the recipient of the Atlantic Legacy Award.

Through My Looking Glass: Nova Scotia A 50 year Photographic Retrospective is published by Pottersfield Press, a renowned Canadian publisher with a strong focus on the regional history, culture, and storytelling.
